Rather, we specialize in making virtual team building and great company culture easy for you long-term, so that you can attract and retain top talent. 
Your remote team could enjoy biweekly virtual experiences and monthly care package shipping, for instance, or join a virtual class every two days with no deliveries at all.

Some of our virtual experiences are surprising, high-energy, and very interactive events — for instance, our murder mysteries and scavenger hunts. How do your virtual event subscription plans work?

We do not typically organize one-off virtual events. Rather, we specialize in making virtual team building and great company culture easy for you long-term. 
We offer subscription-inspired pricing plans so that you can pick and choose your favourite events from our entire selection on a recurring basis.
It could be a drop-in class every two days, a low-key event on a biweekly basis, a monthly virtual experience, or anything else you might have in mind. Regardless, we work hard to surprise, delight, and amaze your team every time!

Do I need to worry about the logistics of virtual event planning?

No, not at all. In your initial onboarding process with us, we get all the essentials out of the way; then, we focus on giving you your time back. 
We like to know what your remote team is like, what your objectives are in working with us, and what your communication preferences are. We may also need information like your team’s addresses for deliveries, which we can gather from them directly. 
With your goals in mind, we then select the event features and options we know you’ll enjoy most. We take care of finding, selecting, and managing highly skilled virtual hosts. We also source, create, customize, and ship exclusive event kits to accompany your virtual experiences. Thanks to our recurring pricing plans, you don’t need to worry about the specific $$ maths of each experience. We ensure everything is within your budget, clean and easy. 
When planning exclusive and customized virtual events, we cater to your preferences as much as possible while keeping all the hassle to a minimum.

Do you offer swag, gifts, and care packages?

Of course! However, we typically do not organize one-off swag orders. Rather, we specialize in making virtual team building and culture easy for you long-term. 
We source, customize, and deliver products according to your needs for onboarding, celebrations, and more. This includes company swag like shirts, hoodies, sweaters, notebooks, tote bags, baseball caps, mugs, water bottles, candles, and more. 
We also put together customized gifts, care packages, and welcome kits depending on your needs. For instance, we typically charge around $50 for a high-quality T-Shirt, sticker pack, and personalized card.

How does your pricing work?

We typically do not organize one-off virtual experiences or swag orders. We specialize in making virtual team building and great culture easy for you long-term. That’s why we offer subscription-inspired pricing plans, which include specific event and swag options. Once you’ve selected a price plan, you can choose your favourite events and products from our entire selection on a recurring basis.

Our most affordable pricing plan begins at $799 per month, per remote team. For our virtual experiences, we always charge per team, rather than per person. For our swag, gift, and product delivery, we adjust depending on the size of the order. We typically do not charge delivery, service, or other ‘extra’ fees, although exceptions include shipping outside of Canada.

What’s the onboarding process like?

In your initial onboarding process with us, we get all the essentials out of the way; then, we focus on giving you your time back. We discuss your needs and go over any questions you may have in our demo call. We also agree on the products and services you could benefit from most, and send over any paperwork.

For your first virtual experience, we like to know what your remote team is like, what your objectives are in working with us, and what your communication preferences are. We may also need information like your team’s addresses for event kit and swag deliveries, which we can gather from them directly. 

In just a few days, you could put your virtual experiences, swag deliveries, onboarding, and appreciation on autopilot. No more busywork, no more stressing over hoodie sizes, and no more event planning. 

How long do your virtual events and digital activities last?

Virtual experiences are longer, immersive events we plan for you, while digital activities are quick games you can play on the fly. Our virtual experiences typically last around 50 minutes. Some are as short as 20 minutes, others may take up to two or three hours to fully enjoy. With your scheduling preferences in mind, we suggest some events over others and customize accordingly.

Meanwhile, our digital activities are quick and easy games you can play on quick notice, like Scribble or Trivia. They can last just a few minutes, or take up the better part of your afternoon, should you choose to play (many, many) additional rounds.

How much time does it take for you to plan virtual experiences or digital activities?

Our digital activities are quick and easy games you can play on quick notice — literally within seconds. All you need to do is log onto the platform, take your pick, and schedule a round of fun for your team. Alternatively, you may wish to plan a game session in advance. With our email and Slack integrations, you can poll your team for their scheduling preferences and send notifications. This shouldn’t take you more than a few minutes.

Our virtual events can take anything from a couple of days to a few weeks to plan. On average, it takes us 4-5 days to get in touch with hosts, confirm the event schedule, and ensure we have an unforgettable experience lined up for you. However, for virtual experiences requiring event kits, we may require up to three weeks’ advance notice for shipping purposes, depending on your location. Do you organize virtual events for small/large teams?

We cater to all remote teams, large and small. Some of our events are best suited to groups of 5-10 people at a time, while others could be attended by hundreds. Based on your team size, we recommend some virtual events over others to ensure the best possible experience for everyone. 

Have a large team, but want a more intimate experience? We can divide your team into smaller groups and organize simultaneous events for everyone to enjoy at once. 

What digital activities do you offer? Are they different from your virtual experiences?

Our digital activities include a series of free virtual games, quizzes, and events. They’re all hosted in the same place on WFHomie’s exclusive platform. Our activities are short and easy to organize independently on quick notice. They are also free. 

You can choose to schedule one for your remote team anytime or start a game with your remote team immediately within seconds. We facilitate Slack and email notifications to make the planning as easy as possible for you. Whether it’s one of our custom WFHomie games, like Trivia and Scribble, or activities like Catan, Minecraft, Scattergories, and Code Names, you can access them all for free on our platform. 

Do you offer live drop-in sessions?

Yes, we do! For the members of our exclusive pricing plans, we grant access to drop-in fireside chats with industry experts, impromptu events, and/or recurring health and wellness sessions such as Chair Yoga and Meditation.

How do you facilitate remote onboarding?

We work with you to surprise and delight your new remote hires. We work hard to ensure they feel welcomed into your team.

For instance, we can source, design, customize, and ship any swag you may need for remote onboarding. This includes company swag like shirts, hoodies, sweaters, notebooks, tote bags, baseball caps, mugs, water bottles, candles, and more. We can also put together customized gifts, care packages, and welcome kits. 

Moreover, we make it easy for your remote hire to get acquainted with the rest of the team, by organizing fun, low-key virtual events. You also have free access to a series of quick-and-easy digital activities, all hosted in one place on the WFHomie platform. 

For an outstanding remote onboarding experience, WFHomie recommends facilitating one-on-ones between your new hires and more experienced team members. Here, we randomly match people on your team, then organize Uber Eats credits so they can easily grab lunch or coffee together. Do you charge for delivery or service fees?

No, we do not typically charge for delivery, service, or ‘extra’ fees. However, there are some exceptions. For instance, we may charge for higher shipping costs if you are based outside of Canada.
